How about a detachable strap? That way it could be a clutch OR a shoulder bag depending on what you needed. Love the bag! Great job!

That's fabulous!! I would create a strap, but put the attachments on the inside of the bag so it won't alter the external look.

i love it - it's so buttery soft and has such gorgeous lines - it's perfection. I don't usually like to carry a clutch but I'm afraid it will be a little less perfect with a handle
I think it's perfect as a clutch. absolutely perfect. i find them difficult to carry every day, but i think a strap would take away from the design unless it could be hidden "sling" straps. you know, the way a backpack is carried (improperly but casually) over just one shoulder.
I would also like to see a smaller version that would tuck into a larger tote bag - i watched my son's fiance pull a clutch out of her everyday tote, rearrange a few things, and she was good for the evening with an elegant clutch. she would love this.
I really love this bag, the previous one also, what can of leather are you using, it look so soft and nice to touch;

I really like this bag. The supple leather you have used & the elegantly simple design.As my daughter says elegant is always simple but not necessarily the other way round. I digress.If you can deal with this bag as a clutch, leave it that way. Take it out for a day, a busy day. You will soon know if a change is required. If you were to add a strap maybe it should be attached at the back of the bag so as not to detract from the design of the front.
It's beautiful! The closures are great. I'd leave it as a clutch.
