Goodbye...

My grandma passed away last night at the age of 95.
All there's left now are the sweet memories.
We'll pick our star tonight and say goodbye...

Thank you all for your sweet thoughts and comforting words the last couple of days.
They meant a lot to us, my parents included.
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, I hope the new star in the sky will be of some comfort to you. I'm always in awe of people who live to be that old, the things they must have seen and the events they've lived through - I bet she had some interesting stories to tell.

Warm thoughts to you and your family. My grandmothers are thought of every day and I tell my kids about them too. That way they live on and on.

I lost my grandmother this month too. It is sad to say goodbye to someone you love, isn't it? So beautiful to hear how much you love yours. Sending the best wishes for you and your family.

I just stumbled upon your blog today but I wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother when I was still in high school almost 10 years ago, and I still think about her all the time. She would be in my dreams sometimes, or just pop in my thoughts at random times of the day when I'm at work, cooking, or sewing. I know how sad you must feel, but don't worry, she'll always be there with you in your thoughts.

All the best ~
